You feel stiff walking onto the court and spend the first game just trying to loosen up
A shoulder, knee, or hip has been nagging you, and you're managing it instead of solving it

You know you're not warming up or recovering properly but nothing you've tried has stuck
Hard-hitting players throw you off your game and you want the strength and footwork to answer back
You want to keep playing for decades, and you're ready to invest in making that happen
This isn't about your age. It's about having a system that is built for you.

Your coach
Alex Cunningham
In 2014, I decided to take my health seriously, stepping away from habits that were working against me and figuring out what actually worked. It wasn't a straight line. Years of yo-yo dieting and inconsistent training taught me what not to do before I found what works.
The shift came in 2019 when I found Paul Chek's How to Eat, Move, and Be Healthy, a framework that finally made everything click. Movement, nutrition, recovery, mindset: not separate problems but one integrated system. I began incorporating functional movement, tai chi, meditation, and real food, and watched my body and mind respond in ways nothing else had produced.
In 2020, I trained with the CHEK Institute, learning to coach through mental blocks, read the body holistically, and guide sustainable change from the inside out. The principle that stuck: how you do anything affects how you do everything.
After 18 months and 250+ coaching sessions, I've narrowed my focus to active people over 50 who want to stay strong, mobile, and in the sport they love. I use the movement tools I trust most: Swiss ball, rope flow, functional strength, and sport-specific agility. Then I build a system around each person's body. With the proper supports, I believe your body already knows how to heal and grow.

Common Questions
Answers
What if I need to miss a session?
Life happens. Travel, family plans, a rough night of sleep, or just one of those weeks. Send me a quick note when you can.
Your spot is reserved in a small Monday/Wednesday/Friday group, so I don't keep a running bank of makeups. That is how I keep the group small and personal.
If you are dealing with surgery, an injury, extended travel, or something longer term, reach out. We will figure out the best way to keep you supported and plan your return.
What if I'm a beginner or coming back from an injury?
That is exactly why this is not a big generic class. You do not need to be fit, flexible, or confident before you walk in.
We start with where you are now: what feels good, what does not, what you want to get back to, and what you are worried about. Then I meet you there and help you build strength, mobility, balance, and confidence one step at a time.
Which class time is right for me?
Groups meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. Each group has no more than four people, so there is room for real coaching.
Book a free intro call and we will talk through your schedule, what you want to improve, and which group fits best.
What's included in the $99 assessment?
The assessment is a private, one-on-one conversation and movement session in the studio. I get to see how you move and hear what you want to keep doing, whether that is pickleball, golf, hiking, travel, getting up and down from the floor, or simply feeling more like yourself. We also talk through any past injuries or concerns.
You will leave knowing your next best step. If you join a program, the $99 goes toward it.
